My research interests lie in conservation biology, particularly applying scientific understanding of population dynamics to develop evidence-based solutions for real-world conservation challenges. My current research focuses on the reintroduction of the Marsh Fritillary butterfly to St Davids Peninsula, Wales, where the species has been extinct since 2013. After conducting fine and broader scale habitat surveys on farms across the peninsula, I hope to explore how different management strategies can be used to maximise the reintroduction project's outcomes.
